Top North Hotel

We came back to this hotel every year for the last 3 years now. Clean and comfortable room, Very friendly and helpful stuff. Location couldn’t be better just 100m from the Sunday walking market and easy to hope on the red tuk tuk which route are going around the town ( if you stay long enough on the tuk tuk that you eventually will come back to the same spot where you got in to the tuk tuk) @30 thb. We have stayed here quite a lot in the past but normally I book a Delux room as a "Chiang Mai Treat". This time my circumstances are different so we went for a cheapy standard room. At first I was disappointed because it was quite a change from Delux but by the time I woke up the next morning I couldn't notice the change, only the bathroom really, and less modern. Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, it seems to be my go-to when I don't want to adventure somewhere new...

I think any place in the old city is good. inside the wall perimeter everything is at a convenient distance. also the red taxi make things affordable. and if you don’t want to wait on anyone grab is also phenomenal. kickboxing right next door for your entertainment. the property is what you expect from a budget friendly hotel. everything in my room worked perfectly and the cleaning lady was always on top of it. didn’t skip out on the water also. the pool was great to have a relaxing moment to break the day in half. if you want to catch some sun while swimming I suggest 1100-1500, after that the massive property covers the pool with its shadow. it was only 150 baht for a taxi from the airport.

An enormous room, with a panoramic view of the mountains. Sited right near the Thapae Gate, on the Moat, but 50 m back from the street so its quiet.Great pool area and with a small brekkie bar. TV has a few western news channels. Lovely helpful staff. I'm so impressed I extended my stay a week
